first slayer record that i ever heard/bought. i still love everything about this record today. shit still holds up. i remember blasting this record every night as a 14 year old kid in my old bedroom. it has everything you want in a record at 14 years old: songs about satan, pentagrams, the devil holding a sword on the cover, the name of the record on fire etc. why the fuck wouldn't you love this record? one of the best slayer records ever recorded. this record still holds up today, 20 some odd years later. it'll always hold a special place in my blackened heart. bottom line: satan rules.

boris/ian astbury

by now, you should already be familiar with boris. from record to record, their sound changes so many times from drone to metal to shoegaze to straight up rock etc and this is really no exception. i really don't know much about ian astbury besides the fact that he's in the band the kult. he wrote all the lyrics for the songs with boris providing all of the background music that you hear. i kind of hope that boris does some more of this type of stuff in addition to putting out the type of records that all us drone/metal/doom/sludge fans know and love. this is my favorite track on the whole record. definitely one of my favorite records of 2010. go and buy it.

steve moore, second half of the duo zombi, brings you his first solo release. the vibe of this is much like the self titled zombi record "cosmos". real ambient, atmospheric space type jams. overall awesome record. i really dig it. these are the two videos i could find. the record is legit. you should probably buy this.
