why aren't these videos taking me to valhalla??
yup this happened. besides that emperor video, i wouldn't be surprised if all these videos were shot in the same forest somewhere in the middle of some country in europe.

first OM record that i ever heard. it's still as awesome as the first time i heard it. if you like sleep, then you'll dig this shit. the other two dudes from the band are in this one. the music is sort of the same style as sleep but the lyrics are a slight bit weirder. at least in my opinion anyway. still worth checking out. perfect for a long drive into the middle of nowhere or a cold winter's day.
special low frequency version
you'll notice the similarities between this and the sunnO))) song, "orthodox caveman". that's because they ripped off that riff. taht being said, both bands fucking rule. i couldn't care less if they stole that riff or not. smoke weed. drop out of life.

if you should ever happen to find yourself in the middle of the woods in germany because your car is broke down on the side of the road and you find a isolated house out there, it's probably a bad idea to stop and ask for help. chances are you'll end up part of some retarded experiment, sewn together with your mouth to someone's asshole etc. totally absurd movie but worth checking out if you're into weirdo horror movies. kinda interested to see what direction they go with in the second movie.
angels of darkness, demons of light 1
so here it is, a new earth record to grace your grubby little mitts. imagine if their last two records, hex(or printing in the infernal method) and the bees made honey in the lions skull got together, made sweet love all night and had a baby. this is the record it would birth. real awesome western vibe/feel to it. another masterpiece in the already impressive earth catalog. get excited.

vitriol
Ben Green (Godflesh) takes us on a haunting and elemental journey of the soul.
Recorded in the mountains of Wales in order to document alchemical pursuits.
In 1995 I moved to a remote cottage in the Ystwyth valley, to escape the noise of the city in order to listen, without distraction to the sounds within, sounds that I had been feeling for a long time. I spent 12 months here in virtual total isolation, focusing not only inwards, but also allowing myself to be an elemental "sponge", initially at nature’s mercy, but eventually learning to coexist with all natural elements, becoming completely aware of the natural order and flow of things. One of the ways in which I explored this was using sound, for as a musician I was very aware of the strength of sounds, particularly in a pure state, and the effect they have on our psyche, and therefore our fundamental state of being.
- Ben Green 2001
hands down one of my favorite records. do yourself a favor and check it out.
